Home Learning Support

  • Ideas to Support Home Learning

  • We hope everyone is keeping safe and well through such challenging circumstances and the whole staffing team at Prince Edward Primary send on their good wishes to all of our children and families.

Our teachers are providing online work for all our families with daily activities. We deliver this through Tapestry or Google Classrooms. Many of the activities can be done in the home without the use of a tablet or laptop, but we are providing devices to any family that needs one and fulfils the criteria. Lots of families are emailing back examples of their home learning too. Please keep reading class blogs to see what’s going on. All our teachers hold online learning sessions throughout the day for our core subjects. Children at home and those at school access these as a class. Teachers feedback within these sessions using breakout rooms and by emailing individuals. Teachers and pastoral teams are making regular phone calls home too to see how our pupils are all getting on at home. Someone will always be in school to answer any questions you may have or you can just email your child’s teacher.

This page will hopefully provide support and advice to parents/carers, from both the school and our key third party providers, along with both local and government guidance
